Is AI Allowed on Fanvue?
Yes. Fanvue allows content that is 100% AI-generated, and it does not require a real person behind the persona to appear in it. The line is drawn at real people: if the body in your content comes from a real person, Fanvue treats that person as a real model, with full verification (KYC), even if the face is AI-generated.
Treated as an AI creator
A persona whose face and body are entirely AI-generated, with the AI status disclosed.
Treated as a real model
Content built on a real person's body, even with an AI face. That person must go through KYC.
Fanvue's AI Disclosure Rules
AI disclosure is mandatory on Fanvue, on every AI-generated media and in your bio. Section D of the Community Guidelines puts it in one sentence:
"All AI-generated media must include a clear and prominent disclosure."
That disclosure can take the form of a watermark, a caption, a message or the bio. In practice, four rules apply:
- Your bio must say the model is AI. This is required, not optional.
- Every AI-generated media needs a clear disclosure. A watermark, a caption or a message all work.
- Never tell fans it's a real person. Not in the bio, not in posts, not in private messages.
- Fanvue adds an AI tag to your bio. It is displayed by the platform itself.
Why the tag protects you: a fan who subscribed while the AI tag was visible is not refunded on the grounds that the creator is AI. Clear disclosure is both a rule and a safeguard for your revenue.
Fanvue AI Verification (KYC)
Every Fanvue account holder must verify their identity with an ID document and a selfie, even if your face never appears on the AI account. Verification is about who runs the account, not who appears in it.
The account holder
ID document + selfie. Required for every creator, AI or human.
Any real person shown in the content
They need their own verified Fanvue account, or they must sign a Model Release Form. Fanvue has offered a downloadable Model Release Form template since June 22, 2026.
What Fanvue Prohibits for AI Creators
Fanvue bans four things for AI creators: real people's likeness, any minor-like appearance, impersonating public figures and content taken from other creators.
- The face or likeness of any real person other than the account holder
- Any minor-like appearance. A prompt or a disclaimer does not change that
- Impersonating public figures
- Content taken from other creators
How Fanvue moderates: the "Reasonable Person's Test"
Fanvue checks content against a "Reasonable Person's Test", applied by three or more moderators. On minor-like appearance, Fanvue is explicit: a prompt or a disclaimer does not change the assessment.

FAQ
Is AI allowed on Fanvue?
Yes. Fanvue allows fully AI-generated creators, as long as the AI status is clearly disclosed in the bio and on AI-generated media. If the body in your content comes from a real person, Fanvue treats that person as a real model who must be verified, even if the face is AI-generated.
Do I have to show my face to verify an AI account?
Not in your content, but yes for verification. Fanvue requires an ID document and a selfie from the account holder, even if your face never appears on the account. Any real person shown in the content needs their own verified Fanvue account or a signed Model Release Form.
Where do I put the AI disclosure?
In two places. Your bio must state that the model is AI-generated, and Fanvue’s Community Guidelines require every AI-generated media to include "a clear and prominent disclosure", for example a watermark, a caption or a message. Fanvue also displays an AI tag in the bio. Never tell fans the persona is a real person.
How many AI accounts can I have?
Up to 15 AI creator accounts per verified identity, compared with 2 for human creators. To link accounts, your KYC must be approved, you need at least one successful withdrawal and no active warning on your account.
What fee does Fanvue take?
Fanvue's standard fee is 20%, so the creator keeps 80% of earnings (as of October 2026). Fanvue's own sources disagree on the first month: its official blog mentions a 15% fee for the first 30 days after KYC approval, then 20%, while other Fanvue pages say creators keep 80% from day one. Check the rate shown in your dashboard. Earnings stay pending for about 7 days before you can withdraw them, or 30 days if the fan's email address is not verified.
Does Fanvue pay out via PayPal?
No. Fanvue pays out by bank transfer, MassPay, Cosmo or crypto, and PayPal is not offered. Fanvue does not publish a minimum withdrawal amount.
Can I use AI to chat with fans?
Fanvue has its own AI Messaging tool, with Generation, Reply and Rewrite modes. Fanvue's terms ban bot accounts and unapproved scripts or extensions, so third-party tools should connect through official channels (the API, the Fanvue App Store or manager accounts). Whatever tool you use, the disclosure rule still applies: you must never tell fans the persona is a real person. For third-party chat tools, check Fanvue's current Community Guidelines before you use them.
Set Up Your AI Account the Right Way
Disclose the AI status from your first post, verify your identity, and keep every real person out of your content unless they are verified or have signed a release. The rest of the AI OFM section covers the business side.
